Southern Area Senior 5-a-Side Football

After a second attempt at holding the Area Five a Side finals due to the heavy snow in most areas, the event went very well. It was a nearly a full house with two juniors and two senior teams unable to attend.

It was a successful weekend. All four finals lived up to high standards making it a fierce competition right from the start.

Well done to all the competing Units who represented their Districts and good luck to the four teams going through to Nationals. The National teams are made up from Ashford, Dover, Ramsgate, Herne Bay, Medway Towns, Sheppey and Eastbourne.

Commodore A Rymer who is the Commanding Officer of HMS Sultan presented the trophies and medals for the Sunday.
